Stepping into Ancora Appartamenti was like a breath of fresh air, its modern air-conditioned apartments adorned in soft colors exuding a sense of tranquility and elegance. The fully equipped kitchen and luxurious spa bath in the bathroom were just what I needed after a long day of exploring the historic city center just a short drive away. The convenience of having two flat-screen TVs in the living room was a bonus, offering entertainment and relaxation in equal measure.The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the beautiful garden with a pool, where I could unwind and soak up the Italian sun in style. The private balcony provided a cozy spot to enjoy my morning espresso, overlooking the serene pool area. The proximity to the centre of Castiglione della Pescaia, just a leisurely 5-minute walk away, made it easy to explore the lively town and its charming streets filled with local shops and restaurants. Despite the lack of a 24/7 reception, the team's availability over the phone ensured that any queries or requests were promptly attended to. I can't wait to return and perhaps bring along a companion next time to share in this exquisite experience.
